Have you shopped for a hair brush lately? The selection on the store shelves can be quite overwhelming. There are round brushes, paddles brushes, vented brushes, etc. with each brush constructed to serve a specific purpose. With that in mind, below are some typical hair brushes and their uses.

Thermal Brushes - A unique concept in hair brush industry, these hair brushes actually conduct heat when using heat styling utensils, such as flat irons and blow dryers. Therefore, not only are you just drying the outer surface of the hair with your blow dryer or flat iron the bristles are drying the inside of the hair shaft.

Vented Hair Brushes - As the name implies this type of brush has a hole in the middle to produce air flow when brushing your hair.
