These simple dry hair recipes will bring you closer to the beautiful hair you deserve.
|Right From The Kitchen|
|1 egg white|
1/4 cup plain organic yogurt
1/4 cup mayonnaise
Mix egg whites until frothy then add yogurt and mayonnaise. Massage onto wet hair and cover with a plastic wrap or shower cap. Leave mask on for 30 minutess. Wash out with a gentle shampoo. To revitalise dry and damaged hair, use this recipe once a month.
|Hydrating Oil Recipe|
|For daily use or everytime you wash your hair, mix a little jojoba oil with your conditioner. Jojoba oil is similiar to the naturally occurring sebum thus smoothing and hydrating dry hair and soothing the scalp.|
|Olive Oil Mask for Dry Hair|
|Take a half cup of olive oil and warm. Massage into hair placing more emphasis on the ends and middle. Wrap hair in plastic wrap or shower cap for 30 minutes. Wash out with a gentle shampoo.|
Olive oil has natural moisturizing properties and will do wonders to hydrate the hair.
|Avocado and Egg for Dry Hair|
1/2 cup olive oil
Blend all ingredients to make a paste. Apply to hair and cover with plastic wrap or shower cap. Leave on for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse with cool water. Your hair will be soft and shiny and split ends smoothed out.
|Hot Oil Treatment for Dry Hair|
|1/2 cup sweet almond oil|
1/4 cup apricot kernel oil
1/4 cup olive oil
Wash your hair and towel dry. Mix ingredients and warm in microwave. Apply the oil to your hair and taking it time to comb it through each strand until it is well coated. Cover your hair with shower cap and leave on for 20 minutes. Wash hair with gentle shampoo. . Take your time and comb it through the hair making sure that it is well coated. This hair oil recipe will last up to a year.
|2 Teaspoons coconut oil|
1 Teaspoon olive oil
3 Teaspoons sesame oil
4 Teaspoons Honey
1 Teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Mix all oils in a saucepan until warm, add honey and apple cider vinegar. Apply this mask after your shampoo and leave on for 20 minutes. Rinse with tepid water.
